Human TSPAN14/Tetraspanin-14 ELISA Kit

A competitive ELISA from Assay Genie, this kit is designed for the precise measurement of Tetraspanin 14 (TSPAN14) levels in human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. Delivering accuracy and specificity across a range of research applications, the assay supports studies of a protein involved in cell adhesion and migration. Dysregulation of Tetraspanin 14 has been linked to cancer, immune disorders, and cardiovascular conditions, highlighting its value as a biomarker for disease progression and potential therapeutic interventions.

The assay provides a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL, using a colorimetric read at 450 nm. Linearity has been validated in serum (85-91% at 1:2, 89-99% at 1:4, 85-93% at 1:8), EDTA plasma (87-102%, 88-98%, 88-98%), and heparin plasma (88-101%, 85-97%, 86-99%). Recovery testing returned averages of 96% for serum (range 88-104%), 95% for EDTA plasma (range 88-104%), and 97% for heparin plasma (range 85-104%). The kit is stored sealed at 2–8°C and should not be cryopreserved.
