Human TSLP/Thymic stromal lymphopoietin ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the accurate quantification of Thymic Stromal Lymphopoietin (TSLP) levels in human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. The kit offers a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL with a standard range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL and uses a colorimetric detection method. TSLP is a key cytokine involved in regulating immune responses and inflammation, playing a critical role in conditions such as allergies, asthma, and autoimmune diseases, making it a valuable biomarker for research into these conditions and the development of targeted therapies.

The assay demonstrates strong linearity across serum (88–105%), EDTA plasma (83–100%), and heparin plasma (81–100%) samples, with recovery averages between 93–98%. The procedure involves reagent and plate equilibration, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes to allow antigen binding, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) incubation for 30 minutes, TMB substrate colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm immediately after adding stop solution. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Kit components include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilised standard, biotin-labelled antibody (100X), HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (SABC, 100X), TMB substrate, sample dilution buffer, antibody dilution buffer, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer (25X), plate sealer, and a technical manual. Sample preparation protocols are provided for serum, plasma, tissue homogenate, cell culture supernatant, and cell lysate.
