Human TSHR/Thyrotropin receptor ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the accurate detection of human thyrotropin receptor (TSHR) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The double-antibody sandwich format uses a colorimetric readout, with absorbance measured at 450 nm.

Sensitivity is 18.75 pg/mL and the standard curve spans 31.25–2000 pg/mL. Reported linearity for serum (n=5) at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 88–105%, 87–104% and 85–104%; for EDTA plasma 84–100%, 82–99% and 82–100%; and for heparin plasma 83–99%, 85–100% and 81–96%. Recovery ranges are 87–105% (average 97%) for serum, 86–104% (average 94%) for EDTA plasma, and 85–102% (average 95%) for heparin plasma. Reagents should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

The thyrotropin receptor regulates thyroid hormone release, and its measurement supports research into hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism and Graves' disease.
