Built around the human TSG-6 protein (TNF-stimulated gene 6, also called TNFAIP6), this Assay Genie kit quantifies a regulator of inflammation, leukocyte adhesion, and extracellular matrix remodeling. TSG-6 is secreted by chondrocytes, mesenchymal stem cells, neutrophils, and various tumor cell lines, and is studied in arthritis models, sepsis research, cumulus-oocyte complex biology, and stromal tissue engineering.

Supplied as a 96-assay microplate, the immunoassay is validated for measurement in cell culture supernatants and in blood-derived samples collected as serum or plasma.
