Human Tryptophanyl tRNA Synthetase/WARS ELISA Kit

A high-quality sandwich ELISA designed for the accurate and sensitive quantitative detection of human Tryptophanyl-tRNA Synthetase (WARS) levels. This kit from Assay Genie uses a double antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, and is validated for use with human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples.

The assay has a reported sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.781–50 ng/mL. Linearity across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions is 82–104% in serum (n=5), 84–105% in EDTA plasma (n=5), and 87–102% in heparin plasma (n=5). Recovery ranges from 85–105% depending on the sample matrix, with average recovery of 96% in serum and EDTA plasma and 98% in heparin plasma. Unopened kit components are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

WARS is an enzyme involved in protein synthesis that attaches the amino acid tryptophan to tRNA molecules, and its dysregulation has been linked to autoimmune disorders and neurological conditions, making this kit a useful tool for related research applications.
