Human Tryptase gamma (TPSG1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie enables quantitative detection of Tryptase gamma (TPSG1) in human samples, recognizing natural and recombinant human Tryptase gamma. The kit is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids and is intended for research use only.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 31.2-2000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 10 pg/mL. Intra-assay CV is 5.6% and inter-assay CV is 9.8%. Across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 (n=5), linearity spans 97-120% in serum, 89-125% in EDTA plasma and 84-123% in heparin plasma. Recovery is reported at 88-100% (average 94%) in serum and 90-102% (average 96%) in plasma.

TPSG1 is a trypsin-like serine protease involved in immune and inflammatory processes, and tryptases of this family have been implicated as mediators in the pathogenesis of asthma and other allergic and inflammatory disorders. The UniProt entry is Q9NRR2, and the protein is a single-pass integral membrane protein belonging to peptidase family S1.
