Human Tryptase delta (TPSD1) ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of human tryptase delta (TPSD1), this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is intended for research use only. The assay is reactive with human samples and accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. It detects natural and recombinant human tryptase delta with a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 32pg/mL. Reported precision values include an intra-assay CV of 5.2% and an inter-assay CV of 7.9%. Spiked recovery averages of 95% (range 89-101%) for serum and 97% (range 91-103%) for plasma are reported.

Tryptase delta is a serine-type endopeptidase of the peptidase S1 family (EC 3.4.21.59) that functions as the major neutral protease present in mast cells and is secreted upon the coupled activation-degranulation response of this cell type. The active protein is a homotetramer released from secretory granules upon mast cell activation and is involved in proteolysis, immune response, and inflammation, making it a target of research interest in conditions such as allergies, asthma, and autoimmune disorders.
