Human Trypsin-1/PRSS1 ELISA Kit

This colorimetric Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of human Trypsin-1 (PRSS1) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Trypsin-1 is a serine protease that plays a critical role in the breakdown of proteins in the digestive system, and its dysregulation has been linked to conditions such as pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these diseases.

The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich assay format with a reported sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a standard curve range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. Reported linearity values across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 fall between 82% and 105%. Recovery data report averages of 97% for serum, 94% for EDTA plasma, and 92% for heparin plasma. The procedure uses TMB substrate color development with absorbance read at 450 nm, and the kit is intended to be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
