Human Troponin T, slow skeletal muscle (TNNT1) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this colorimetric sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the precise quantitative measurement of human Troponin T, slow skeletal muscle (TNNT1). It is reactive with human samples and validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The kit is intended for research use only and supports studies of skeletal muscle biology, with relevance to muscular dystrophy, myopathies, neuromuscular disorders, and to cancer research.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 15.6-1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 8.9 pg/mL. The kit reports an intra-assay CV of 3.5% and an inter-assay CV of 5.6%. Recovery has been demonstrated at an average of 106% in serum (range 100-112%) and 108% in plasma (range 102-114%). The assay shows specificity for natural and recombinant human Troponin T, slow skeletal muscle, and is associated with UniProt entry P13805. Troponin T functions as the tropomyosin-binding subunit of the troponin complex, which confers calcium-sensitivity to striated muscle actomyosin ATPase activity.
