Human Troponin I, cardiac muscle (TNNI3) ELISA Kit

Troponin I is the inhibitory subunit of troponin, the thin filament regulatory complex which confers calcium-sensitivity to striated muscle actomyosin ATPase activity, and is a key biomarker released into the bloodstream following heart damage or injury.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 31.2-2000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 6.37pg/mL. Intra-assay precision is reported at 6.6% CV, with inter-assay CV at 8.7%. Recovery ranges are 94-106% for serum (average 100%) and 96-108% for plasma (average 102%).

The kit accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and shows specificity for natural and recombinant human Troponin I, cardiac muscle. The target protein corresponds to UniProt entry P19429.
