Human TrkA ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie designed for the precise measurement of TRKA (Tropomyosin receptor kinase A) levels in human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, offering a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a measuring range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL.

TRKA is a high-affinity nerve growth factor receptor involved in neurotrophic signaling that is essential for neuron survival, differentiation, and growth. Dysregulation of TRKA has been implicated in neurological disorders including Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and schizophrenia, making the kit a valuable resource for research into these conditions and potential therapeutic interventions. The kit demonstrates strong linearity and recovery across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples, supporting accurate and consistent results for a variety of research applications.

Reagents should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months, and the assay workflow involves equilibration of reagents and TMB substrate, incubation steps at 37°C for antigen binding, detection antibody binding, and HRP-streptavidin binding, followed by colour development in the dark and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after adding stop solution.
