Human Tristetraprolin/ZFP36 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human Tristetraprolin (ZFP36) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double-antibody configuration with a colorimetric detection method.

According to the manufacturer's specifications, the kit has a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a working range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. Reagents should be stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months. Reported recovery in serum averages 96% (range 88–102%), in EDTA plasma 92% (85–105%), and in heparin plasma 93% (86–99%).

The workflow involves equilibrating reagents, loading standards and samples for a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, binding with biotin-labeled detection antibody (60 minutes), HRP-Streptavidin incubation (30 minutes), TMB color development (10–20 minutes in the dark), and absorbance reading at 450 nm after adding stop solution. Tristetraprolin, also known as ZFP36, TTP, TIS11, or G0S24 (UniProt P26651), is a zinc finger protein involved in post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression linked to inflammation and immune response.
