Human Tripartite motif-containing protein 3 (TRIM3) ELISA Kit

TRIM3 is a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM/RBCC) family of RING finger proteins, implicated in vesicular trafficking via its association with the CART complex, transferrin receptor recycling, and the positive regulation of microtubule-dependent motor protein KIF21B motility. The kit shows reactivity with human samples and is specific for natural and recombinant human TRIM3 (also known by the synonyms BERP, RNF22, RNF97, and HAC1).

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.23ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.7%, and an inter-assay CV of 7.8%. Linearity has been evaluated in serum (101-116%), EDTA plasma (86-118%), and heparin plasma (82-111%) across dilution factors of 1:2 to 1:16. Recovery ranges are 88-100% for serum (average 94%) and 90-102% for plasma (average 96%). The target protein has a reported molecular weight of 80,830 Da (UniProt O75382) and localizes to the cytoplasm, early endosome, Golgi apparatus, trans-Golgi network, and dendrites.
