TRIM24 (TIF1-alpha) is a tripartite motif protein that functions as both a nuclear receptor transcriptional co-regulator and an E3 ubiquitin ligase, with a molecular weight of approximately 116 kDa. This quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie provides researchers with a tool to measure TRIM24 protein levels, supporting studies of p53 regulation, chromatin remodeling, and oncogenic signaling in hepatocellular carcinoma, breast cancer, and acute myeloid leukemia.

TRIM24 contains a RING-B-box-coiled-coil tripartite motif, a PHD finger, and a bromodomain, allowing it to read histone modifications such as H3K4me0 and acetylated lysines while targeting substrates including p53 for ubiquitin-dependent degradation. The protein also binds retinoic acid receptors and other nuclear receptors, modulating ligand-dependent transcription in chromatin-based gene regulation.

The assay uses an absorbance-based readout and is provided in a 96 Assays microplate format. Intended for research use only, the kit supports biomarker screening, pathway analysis, and protein expression profiling in oncology, endocrinology, and chromatin biology research, and requires refrigerated storage of reagents.
