Human TRIM22 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this colorimetric Sandwich ELISA is built on a double-antibody configuration for the quantitative detection of human TRIM22 (UniProt Q8IYM9). It is intended for immunology research and is reactive with human samples, validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate and other liquid sample types.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Linearity in serum (n=5) was 93–104% at 1:2, 92–101% at 1:4 and 87–100% at 1:8, with EDTA plasma (n=5) at 82–92%, 84–97% and 82–98%, and heparin plasma (n=5) at 87–95%, 81–98% and 93–100%. Spike recovery averaged 94% in serum (range 85–103%), 91% in EDTA plasma (89–101%) and 93% in heparin plasma (87–100%). Unopened components are stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months.

The procedure follows six stages: equilibrate reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature and set up standards, samples and zero controls on the pre-coated plate; incubate at 37°C for 90 minutes; add biotinylated detection antibody and incubate at 37°C for 60 minutes; add HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) and incubate at 37°C for 30 minutes; develop with TMB substrate in the dark for 10–20 minutes; then stop the reaction and read absorbance at 450 nm. TRIM22 is a protein linked to immune responses, viral infections and inflammatory processes, with dysregulation associated with autoimmune disorders, viral infections and certain cancers.
