Human Trefoil factor 3 (TFF3) ELISA Kit

TFF3 (also known as intestinal trefoil factor or ITF) is a secreted protein involved in the maintenance and repair of intestinal mucosa, where it promotes the mobility of epithelial cells during healing. Dysregulated expression has been associated with gastrointestinal disorders, supporting its value as a biomarker in related research. The kit specifically detects natural and recombinant human TFF3 and is for research use only.

Performance characteristics reported by the manufacturer include a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.1ng/mL, intra-assay CV of 5.4%, and inter-assay CV of 10.2%. Linearity has been verified in serum (83-93% to 91-102%), EDTA plasma (99-109% to 83-93%) and heparin plasma (92-104% to 94-104%) across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16. Average recovery is 101% in serum (range 95-107%) and 103% in plasma (range 97-109%).
