Human Trefoil factor 1 (TFF1) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of human Trefoil factor 1 (TFF1) in serum and plasma. TFF1 is a secreted signaling protein that stabilizes the mucous gel overlying the gastrointestinal mucosa, providing a physical barrier against noxious agents, and is implicated in mucosal protection and repair; abnormal TFF1 levels have been associated with peptic ulcers and gastric cancer.

The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with human samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. It is specific for natural and recombinant human TFF1, with a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.098ng/mL. Reported precision is 3.9% intra-CV and 7.1% inter-CV, with serum recovery averaging 101% (range 95-107%) and plasma recovery averaging 103% (range 97-109%).
