TRAPPC2 functions as a core component of the TRAPP (Transport Protein Particle) complex, which regulates vesicular trafficking between the endoplasmic reticulum and the Golgi apparatus. The Assay Genie Human TRAPPC2 ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of this X-linked gene product, also known as SEDL, in human research samples. Mutations in TRAPPC2 are associated with X-linked spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia tarda, a hereditary disorder of skeletal development affecting vertebrae and epiphyseal cartilage.

Supplied in a 96 Assays format with reagents provided in individual vials, the kit uses an absorbance-based readout on a standard microplate reader.
