Human Transglutaminase 1, Keratinocyte/TGM1 ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of Transglutaminase 1 (TGM1) in human samples, this Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie uses a double-antibody format with colorimetric detection. The kit accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and is suited to research exploring skin barrier function, keratinization, wound healing, and other dermatological conditions in which TGM1 serves as a relevant biomarker.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Linearity was assessed across dilution factors of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 (n = 5) with recovery ranges of 85–101% / 84–96% / 81–93% for serum, 92–104% / 86–100% / 80–95% for EDTA plasma, and 85–103% / 90–101% / 80–96% for heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery testing (n = 5) gave average recoveries of 92% for serum, 94% for EDTA plasma, and 95% for heparin plasma.
