Human Transgelin-2 (TAGLN2) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the accurate quantification of human Transgelin-2 (TAGLN2), also known as smooth muscle protein 22-alpha homolog, in human samples. Transgelin-2 is a cytoskeletal protein of the calponin family involved in cell migration and cytoskeleton organization, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, cardiovascular disorders, and neurological conditions. The kit detects natural and recombinant human Transgelin-2 (UniProt P37802) and is reactive with human samples.

The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and has been validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. It offers a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.078ng/mL, and reports an intra-assay CV of 4.8% and an inter-assay CV of 7.5%.

Spike-and-recovery testing shows an average recovery of 98% (range 92-104%) for serum and 100% (range 94-106%) for plasma, with linearity demonstrated across serial dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma.
