Human Transforming protein RhoA (RHOA) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative detection of human Transforming protein RhoA (RHOA), a small GTPase of the Rho family that regulates cell shape, attachment and motility through reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton. Dysregulation of RHOA has been linked to cancer, cardiovascular diseases and neurological disorders, positioning it within signal transduction research.

Using a colorimetric detection method, the kit is reactive with human samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Specificity is stated for natural and recombinant human Transforming protein RhoA. Manufacturer-quoted performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.11 ng/mL, with intra-assay and inter-assay CVs of 5.1% and 9.6% respectively. Recovery in serum is reported as 84% (range 80–90%) and in plasma as 86% (range 80–92%). Linearity across serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16) spans 97–105% to 85–94% for serum, 90–102% to 90–103% for EDTA plasma and 107–119% to 100–111% for heparin plasma.
