Human Transcription factor RelB (RELB) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA kit enables accurate quantification of human Transcription factor RelB (RELB), also known as I-Rel (UniProt Q01201). The kit is reactive with human samples and has been validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant human Transcription factor RelB.

The colorimetric assay delivers a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.01 ng/mL. Precision data show an intra-assay CV of 5.5% and an inter-assay CV of 10.3%. Linearity was demonstrated across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for serum (107–118%, 98–108%, 81–91%, 90–100%), EDTA plasma (91–101%, 113–125%, 98–110%, 96–106%) and heparin plasma (97–106%, 99–111%, 94–104%, 105–114%). Recovery averaged 103% (range 97–109%) for serum and 105% (range 99–111%) for plasma.

RELB is a member of the NF-kappa-B family of transcription factors, described as pleiotropic regulators present in almost all cell types and involved in inflammation, immunity, differentiation, cell growth, tumorigenesis and apoptosis. RELB is reported to localise to the nucleus, cytoplasm, cytoskeleton, microtubule organising centre and centrosome, and the research area highlighted for this kit is cancer. For research use only.
