Human Transcription factor GATA-5 (GATA5) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for quantitative detection of Transcription factor GATA-5 (GATA5), also referred to as GATA-binding factor 5, in human samples. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.4%, and an inter-assay CV of 8.8%. Linearity was evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 (N=5). Mean recovery is 102% (range 96-108%) for serum and 104% (range 98-110%) for plasma. GATA5 is a nuclear transcription factor required during cardiovascular development that contributes to smooth muscle cell diversity and binds functionally important sites within cardiac-specific regulatory elements.
