Human TRAF6/TNF receptor-associated factor 6 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human TRAF6 (TNF receptor-associated factor 6) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

TRAF6 is described as a key signaling molecule involved in immune responses, inflammation and cell survival, with dysregulation implicated in cancer, autoimmune disorders and inflammatory conditions. The assay targets TRAF6 (UniProt Q9Y4K3), also referred to as RNF85, MGC:3310, RING finger protein 85, E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase TRAF6, and Interleukin-1 signal transducer, and is for research in the area of epigenetics and nuclear signaling.

Linearity in serum at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions (n = 5) was 90-105%, 85-100% and 84-93%; EDTA plasma 85-104% / 86-99% / 82-95%; heparin plasma 88-103% / 83-91% / 85-96%. Spike-and-recovery averaged 93% in serum (range 85-102%), 94% in EDTA plasma (87-102%) and 92% in heparin plasma (86-98%). The procedure uses a 90-minute primary incubation at 37 °C, a 60-minute biotin-labelled detection antibody step, a 30-minute HRP-streptavidin incubation, 10-20 minutes of TMB development in the dark, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after adding stop solution. Kit components are stored at 2-8 °C and the kit is stable for 12 months under recommended conditions.
