This immunoassay from Assay Genie is built around the detection of tyrosylprotein sulfotransferase 2 (TPST2), a Golgi-membrane enzyme that catalyzes post-translational O-sulfation of tyrosine residues on secreted proteins and peptide hormones. TPST2-driven tyrosine sulfation modulates chemokine activity, leukocyte adhesion, GPCR ligand binding, and several hormone-receptor interactions, so quantitative readouts of TPST2 levels support research into inflammatory signaling, immune cell migration, and endocrine regulation.

The kit ships with a microplate pre-coated with a human-specific capture antibody, lyophilized recombinant standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, and chromogenic substrate. Working dilutions should be prepared fresh, stored refrigerated, and protected from light, while unused strip wells can be returned to the foil pouch with desiccant to maintain binding capacity.
