Human TPSD1/Tryptase delta 1 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a Sandwich ELISA (Double Antibody) kit designed for the measurement of TPSD1 (Tryptase Delta-1) levels in human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method with HRP-Streptavidin/TMB chemistry and absorbance read at 450 nm, with a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL across a quantitative range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL.

TPSD1, also known as tryptase delta-1 (Uniprot Q9BZJ3), is a member of the peptidase S1 family and represents the major neutral protease secreted from mast cell secretory granules upon coupled activation-degranulation. The protein plays a role in immune response and inflammation, and its dysregulation has been linked to allergic diseases, asthma, and autoimmune disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for research into these conditions and potential therapeutic interventions.

The workflow follows a six-step protocol: reagent and plate preparation; primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes; biotin-labeled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes; HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes; TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes; and stop reaction with immediate absorbance measurement. Kit components are stored at 2–8°C and remain stable for 12 months under these conditions.
