Human Toll-like receptor 7 (TLR7) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the accurate and sensitive detection of human Toll-like receptor 7 (TLR7) levels in serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. It is also suitable for tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with reactivity for human samples and specificity for natural and recombinant human TLR7.

The assay covers a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.09ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 5.2% and inter-assay CV is 9.9%. Linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions is 106-114%, 88-98%, 102-114% and 92-104% for serum (N=5); 106-116%, 89-101%, 95-107% and 94-104% for EDTA plasma (N=5); and 99-108%, 90-99%, 85-96% and 111-120% for heparin plasma (N=5). Recovery averages 103% (range 97-109%) in serum and 105% (range 99-111%) in plasma.

TLR7 functions as a key component of innate and adaptive immunity. As a nucleotide-sensing Toll-like receptor, it is activated by single-stranded RNA and signals via MYD88 and TRAF6, leading to NF-kappa-B activation, cytokine secretion and the inflammatory response. The kit is intended for research use only within the immunology research area.
