Human Toll-like receptor 6 (TLR6) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is for the quantitative measurement of human Toll-like receptor 6 (TLR6), also known as CD286, in human samples using an ELISA detection method. The kit is reactive with human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.159 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is reported at 8.4% and inter-assay CV at 10.1%. The antibodies detect natural and recombinant human TLR6 (UniProt Q9Y2C9). Linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions falls within 80–117% for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma depending on sample and dilution. Average recovery is 101% (range 95–107%) for serum and 103% (range 97–109%) for plasma.

TLR6 is a member of the Toll-like receptor family that participates in the innate immune response to Gram-positive bacteria and fungi. It recognises diacylated and, to a lesser extent, triacylated lipopeptides, and signals via MYD88 and TRAF6 to drive NF-kappa-B activation, cytokine secretion, and the inflammatory response.
