Human Toll-like receptor 5 (TLR5) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human Toll-like receptor 5 (TLR5), a single-pass type I membrane protein involved in innate immunity. The kit detects natural and recombinant human TLR5 and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids.

TLR5 recognises bacterial flagellin and signals through MYD88 and TRAF6 to activate NF-kappa-B, driving cytokine secretion and the inflammatory response. The kit is intended for research applications in immunology, including studies of inflammatory and infectious disease.

The assay has a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078ng/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 7.1% and an inter-assay CV of 9.6%. Linearity has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across serial dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16. Recovery in serum averages 100% (range 94-106%) and in plasma averages 102% (range 96-108%). The kit is for research use only.
