Human Toll-like receptor 3 (TLR3) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Toll-like receptor 3 (TLR3), also known as CD283, in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit uses a colorimetric detection method and is intended for research use only, supporting immunology applications concerned with innate and adaptive immunity.

The assay covers a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.098 ng/mL, an Intra CV of 5.7% and an Inter CV of 10.9%. Linearity has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Recovery in serum averages 106% (range 100-112%) and in plasma averages 108% (range 102-114%).

TLR3 is a nucleotide-sensing pattern recognition receptor activated by double-stranded RNA, a sign of viral infection, signalling through the TRIF/TICAM1 adapter to drive NF-kappa-B activation, IRF3 nuclear translocation, cytokine secretion and the inflammatory response. The kit shows specificity for natural and recombinant human TLR3.
