Human TNNC2/Troponin C Type 2 ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human TNNC2 (Troponin C Type 2) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The double-antibody format uses a pre-coated capture antibody, a biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin binding, and TMB substrate development, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

Reported performance figures include a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a working range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. Linearity assessed at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 gave recoveries of 87–100%, 91–105%, and 86–100% for serum (n=5); 86–105%, 86–99%, and 87–96% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 85–99%, 80–97%, and 83–100% for heparin plasma (n=5). Spike-and-recovery testing returned average values of 98% for serum, 91% for EDTA plasma, and 97% for heparin plasma.

The quick protocol consists of incubating standards or samples for 90 minutes at 37°C, biotin-labelled antibody for 60 minutes at 37°C, and HRP-Streptavidin conjugate for 30 minutes at 37°C, with TMB substrate added in the dark for 10–20 minutes and absorbance read at 450 nm after the stop solution. Kit reagents include a dismountable microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labelled antibody (100X), HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (100X), TMB substrate, sample and SABC dilution buffers, wash buffer, stop solution, and a plate sealer, each with component-specific storage conditions.
