Human TNMD (Tenomodulin) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this double-antibody sandwich ELISA enables quantitative detection of human tenomodulin (TNMD) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Tenomodulin is a key protein involved in tendon development and maintenance, regulating collagen fibrillogenesis and tendon maturation, and serves as a biomarker for tendon-related conditions such as tendon injuries and tendinopathies. The assay has a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a standard range of 0.313-20 ng/mL, with absorbance read at 450 nm following a colorimetric TMB reaction.

Manufacturer-reported validation shows linearity at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions of 90-100%, 88-105%, and 89-99% for serum (n=5); 85-97%, 91-104%, and 83-100% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 83-94%, 83-95%, and 80-91% for heparin plasma (n=5). Spike-and-recovery values were 89-100% (average 96%) in serum, 87-95% (average 91%) in EDTA plasma, and 87-98% (average 94%) in heparin plasma. The kit is intended for storage at 2-8°C for 12 months and is designed for research applications.
