Description

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie, this kit is designed for the quantitative detection of human TNFRSF6B (Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor Superfamily Member 6B) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double-antibody, colorimetric format with a reported sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. TNFRSF6B is described as a receptor involved in the regulation of cell death and survival pathways and in immune and inflammatory responses, with dysregulation linked to autoimmune conditions including rheumatoid arthritis and inflammatory bowel disease.

Validated linearity for serum (n=5) is 88-102% at 1:2, 82-101% at 1:4 and 80-96% at 1:8; for EDTA plasma (n=5) 86-99%, 82-97% and 94-99%; and for heparin plasma (n=5) 87-103%, 87-98% and 85-98%. Recovery ranges across the same matrices are 86-104% (average 95%) for serum, 90-98% (average 93%) for EDTA plasma, and 95-105% (average 99%) for heparin plasma. The procedure involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate, incubating standards and samples on the pre-coated plate at 37°C for 90 minutes, adding a biotin-labeled detection antibody with a 37°C / 60-minute incubation, binding HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) for 30 minutes at 37°C, developing with TMB in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and reading absorbance at 450 nm after adding stop solution. The kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
