Human TNFAIP2/Tumor necrosis factor alpha-induced protein 2 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of Tumor Necrosis Factor Alpha-Induced Protein 2 (TNFAIP2) in human samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Linearity across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 was 87-102% for serum, 84-101% for EDTA plasma and 80-96% for heparin plasma, with mean recovery values of 96% (serum), 93% (EDTA plasma) and 95% (heparin plasma). The kit is listed for cardiovascular research; TNFAIP2 is induced by TNF-alpha and has been implicated in inflammation, immunity, cell survival, and in diseases such as cancer, autoimmune disorders and inflammatory conditions.

The protocol runs through six steps: reagent and plate preparation, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and a stop reaction with absorbance read at 450 nm.
