Human TNF-alpha PharmaGenie ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative detection of TNF-alpha, this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is part of the PharmaGenie range developed for pharmaceutical and biotech research. The kit uses a highly optimised monoclonal antibody pair and a purified recombinant protein standard to detect the analyte in cell culture supernatants, and is also validated for the more complex matrices of serum and plasma. Detection is colorimetric.

Reported performance characteristics include an assay range of 25 pg/ml - 800 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 10 pg/ml, with standard calibration to NIBSC. The kit recognises both natural and recombinant human TNF-alpha, with no cross-reactivity against other human cytokines tested and no interference from soluble TNFR I and TNFR II. Cross-reactivity with macac TNF-a is noted. The required sample volume is 100 µl and total incubation time is 3h40. Reagents are validated according to ISO 9001:2000 quality systems.

Each kit contains pre-coated strip plates, a biotinylated secondary antibody, standards, controls where applicable, buffers, streptavidin-HRP, TMB substrate, stop reagent and a detailed procedure.
