Human TNC (Tenascin C) ELISA Kit (HUES02459)

Measure human TNC (Tenascin C) with this colorimetric Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie. It is designed for serum, plasma and other biological fluids, including cell culture supernatants. The stated detection range is “0.31-20 ng/mL”, sensitivity is “0.19 ng/mL”, sample volume required per well is “100µL”, and assay time is “4.5h”.

The microplate is pre-coated with an antibody specific to human TNC. Biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate are added successively, free components are washed away, and substrate solution is then added. Wells containing human TNC, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate appear blue; after Stop Solution is added, the colour turns yellow. Optical density is measured spectrophotometrically at “450 nm ± 2 nm” and is proportional to human TNC concentration. Sample concentrations are calculated by comparing sample optical density with the standard curve.

The kit recognises human TNC, with no significant cross-reactivity or interference between human TNC and analogues observed. In spiked samples, average recovery was “92%” for serum, “101%” for EDTA plasma and “94%” for cell culture media.
