The Assay Genie TMPRSS5 ELISA Kit supports quantitative detection of Transmembrane Serine Protease 5 (Spinesin), a type II transmembrane serine protease predominantly expressed in the central nervous system, with highest transcript levels reported in spinal cord tissue. This paired-antibody immunoassay is configured for research applications investigating protease involvement in neural development, synaptic plasticity, and extracellular matrix remodeling.

The kit includes a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized recombinant standards, biotinylated detection antibody, and streptavidin-HRP conjugate. Reconstituted standards should be aliquoted to minimize freeze-thaw cycles, and the remaining components stored refrigerated. Each pack provides reagents for a full microplate run, supporting replicate measurements and complete standard curve generation.
