The Assay Genie Human TMEM38A ELISA Kit provides quantitative measurement of TMEM38A, the trimeric intracellular cation channel type A (TRIC-A) localized in the sarcoplasmic and endoplasmic reticulum membrane. This channel functions as a counter-ion conductance that supports calcium release from intracellular stores during excitation-contraction coupling and is implicated in muscle development, bone formation, and cardiac function.
