TMEM208 is an endoplasmic-reticulum-resident membrane protein implicated in stress granule regulation and translational control during cellular stress, making it relevant for studies in viral-host interactions, neurodegeneration, and tumor signaling.

The strip plate is pre-coated with a human-specific anti-TMEM208 capture antibody, paired with a biotinylated detection antibody and streptavidin-HRP reporter for a colorimetric endpoint read at 450 nm. Researchers load 100 uL of prepared sample and serial-diluted standards per well, interpolating concentrations from a seven-point calibration curve fitted with four-parameter logistic regression. Reconstituted reagents are stable when aliquoted and stored at -20 degrees C, and unused strips can be refrigerated at 4 degrees C short term to limit freeze-thaw cycles.
