TMEM201 (also known as NET5 or SAMP1) is a multi-pass transmembrane protein anchored in the inner nuclear membrane, where it contributes to nuclear envelope integrity and proper mitotic progression. Altered TMEM201 expression has been reported in hepatocellular carcinoma and gastric cancer tissues compared with matched normal controls, making quantitative measurement of this antigen a useful biomarker strategy.
