Human TMEFF2 ELISA Kit (HUFI06090)

The Assay Genie TMEFF2 ELISA kit targets the transmembrane protein TMEFF2 (also called tomoregulin or TR-2), a single-pass membrane glycoprotein carrying one EGF-like domain and two follistatin-like modules. TMEFF2 expression has been documented in prostate tissue, neural tissue, and several cancer cell lines, and it is studied as a candidate biomarker in prostate cancer and neurodegeneration research.

The assay uses a human-specific capture antibody pair recognizing an epitope on the extracellular region of TMEFF2, with a standard curve generated from recombinant human calibrators. Recommended sample volume is 50 µL per well, with total incubation of approximately 3.5 hours at room temperature. Reconstituted standards are stored frozen, while the working detection antibody and streptavidin-HRP conjugate are kept refrigerated and protected from light until use.

Each kit includes a pre-coated microplate, plate sealers, wash buffer concentrate, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, TMB substrate, stop solution, lyophilized recombinant standard, and sample diluent. The reagents are for research use only and are shipped cold with a desiccant pouch to support the kit's stated shelf life once received.
