Human TLN2 (Talin-2) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA, double-antibody kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Talin-2 (TLN2) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Detection is colorimetric, and the kit is reactive with human samples only.

The assay has a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a standard range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Reported recovery averages 96% for serum (range 86–104%), 97% for EDTA plasma (range 90–102%), and 92% for heparin plasma (range 88–99%). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions is reported as 86–93%, 87–100%, and 80–99% for serum; 87–105%, 83–99%, and 81–92% for EDTA plasma; and 87–101%, 86–89%, and 84–99% for heparin plasma. The kit should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months and includes a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled antibody concentrate, HRP-streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, dilution buffers, stop solution, wash buffer, plate sealer, and technical manual.

Talin-2 is a protein involved in cell adhesion and migration, with roles in cell signalling and cytoskeletal organization. Its dysregulation has been implicated in cancer and cardiovascular disorders, making it a focus of research in cell biology, cancer biology, and cardiovascular health.
