Human Tissue Polypeptide ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie, configured as a Double Antibody assay, is designed for the quantitative measurement of tissue polypeptide (TPA) levels in human samples. Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with detection carried out colorimetrically.

The kit delivers a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL across a working range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL, with components stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. It is intended for cardiovascular research applications. The assay procedure involves a primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, followed by detection antibody binding, HRP-streptavidin binding, and color development with TMB substrate, with absorbance measured at 450 nm.

Validation data shows linearity across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions, with reported recovery ranges of 88-103% (serum, average 99%), 90-105% (EDTA plasma, average 97%), and 89-103% (heparin plasma, average 96%).
