Human TIMP2/Metalloproteinase inhibitor 2 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of TIMP2 (Metalloproteinase Inhibitor 2) levels in human samples using a double antibody configuration with colorimetric detection.

Acceptable sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Kit components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. Validation data are reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma matrices. Linear dilution recoveries across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions were 89-103% / 88-101% / 86-104% for serum, 88-101% / 82-99% / 84-97% for EDTA plasma, and 90-100% / 85-100% / 84-93% for heparin plasma (n=5). Spike-and-recovery averages were 94% for serum (range 86-100%), 99% for EDTA plasma (range 91-104%) and 97% for heparin plasma (range 91-102%).
