The Human TIMM44 ELISA Kit from Assay Genie supports quantitative studies of mitochondrial protein import pathways. TIMM44 (Translocase of Inner Mitochondrial Membrane 44) anchors the mtHsp70 chaperone to the TIM23 translocase complex on the inner mitochondrial membrane, and altered TIMM44 expression has been reported in research on mitochondrial disorders and several tumor types.

Each kit supplies a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated capture antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, recombinant TIMM44 standards, dilution buffer, concentrated wash buffer, TMB substrate, and stop solution. The recommended sample volume is 100 µL per well, and the full protocol is completed in approximately 3.5 hours. Unopened kits should be stored refrigerated until first use; reconstituted standards must be aliquoted, frozen at -20 °C, and protected from light to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve antibody binding activity.
