Quantitative measurement of human TIM-4 — a phosphatidylserine receptor on macrophages and dendritic cells that mediates engulfment of apoptotic cells — is supported by the Assay Genie Human TIM-4 ELISA Kit, a 96-assay research-use-only plate-based assay for plasma, serum, and cell culture supernatants. Because TIM-4 shapes efferocytosis, tumor immune evasion, autoimmune inflammation, and host–pathogen interactions, the kit is positioned for immunology, oncology, and infectious-disease research.
The procedure uses a capture-antibody pre-coated plate. Standards and samples are loaded, a biotinylated detection antibody is added, and signal is generated with a streptavidin-HRP conjugate plus a chromogenic substrate. The resulting colorimetric readout is captured on a standard microplate reader, and concentrations are interpolated from the standard curve run on the same plate.
Each kit is supplied as a complete pack sized for 96 determinations: a removable-strip microplate, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP, recombinant protein standards, wash buffer, assay diluent, and substrate. It is intended for in vitro research use and is validated for the human TIM-4 target across plasma, serum, and cell culture supernatant matrices.
