The Human TIGIT (T-cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains) PharmaGenie ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of soluble TIGIT in human research samples. TIGIT functions as an inhibitory immune checkpoint receptor expressed on activated T cells, regulatory T cells, and natural killer (NK) cells, where it competes with CD226 for binding to ligands such as poliovirus receptor (PVR/CD155) on antigen-presenting cells and tumor cells.

Researchers in immuno-oncology, autoimmune disease, and chronic viral infection study TIGIT as a biomarker of T-cell exhaustion and a therapeutic target alongside PD-1 and CTLA-4 in checkpoint blockade investigations. The microplate-based workflow accommodates cell culture supernatants, plasma, and serum specimens, and supplies pre-coated wells, detection antibody, and calibrated standards required to generate a standard curve for interpolation of unknown concentrations.

Unopened kit components should be refrigerated and protected from light until first use; allow all reagents to reach room temperature before beginning the assay. Reagents are intended for in vitro research use only and are not validated for diagnostic procedures.
