Human Tight Junction Protein 2 (TJP2) ELISA Kit

The TJP2 immunoassay from Assay Genie provides an absorbance-based readout of human Tight Junction Protein 2, also known as Zonula Occludens-2 (ZO-2), supporting research into epithelial barrier biology and junction-related disease mechanisms. ZO-2 is a peripheral scaffolding protein of the cytoplasmic plaque that anchors transmembrane claudins and occludin to the actin cytoskeleton, regulates paracellular permeability, and participates in signal transduction in polarized epithelia including hepatocytes, intestinal and renal tubular cells, and vascular endothelium.

Each pack supplies 96 assays and includes the pre-coated microplate, recombinant standard, biotinylated detection reagent, enzyme conjugate, wash and substrate buffers, and stop solution needed to quantify TJP2 in tissue homogenates and cell lysates from human sources.
