Thyroxine Binding Globulin (TBG) is a 54 kDa liver-synthesized glycoprotein responsible for carrying the thyroid hormones T4 and T3 through the bloodstream, and quantitative serum measurement supports research into hepatic dysfunction, pregnancy-related hormone shifts, and inherited TBG excess or deficiency variants. This Assay Genie panel uses a two-site immunometric configuration with streptavidin-HRP and TMB chemistry, yielding an estimated detection range of 3.125 to 100 ng/mL and a sensitivity near 0.78 ng/mL. Each pack supplies a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection antibody, lyophilized reference standards, wash concentrate, and assay diluents sufficient for 50 uL sample volumes loaded in duplicate.
