Human Thyroglobulin ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of thyroglobulin in human samples using a double-antibody format. The Human Thyroglobulin ELISA Kit is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Detection is performed colorimetrically, with absorbance read at 450 nm following TMB substrate development.

The kit offers a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and a measuring range of 0.78–50 ng/mL. Reagents are intended to be stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months. Linearity has been demonstrated across serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8) in serum (86–103%), EDTA plasma (85–100%), and heparin plasma (85–100%). Recovery across these matrices ranges from 90–105%, with average recoveries between 96% and 98%. The workflow follows a six-step protocol: reagent and plate preparation; primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes; biotin-labelled detection antibody incubation for 60 minutes; HRP-streptavidin binding for 30 minutes; TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes; and a stop reaction with absorbance read at 450 nm.
